The Diversity Change Model © has been developed by Shapiro Consulting. It underpins our consultancy and development work and is now used by over 200 employers who are members of Opportunity Now - the campaign aimed at promoting the quality and quantity of women’s employment – and the Employers’ Forum on Disability.

There are three key elements to the model:

  • MOTIVATE the organisation and its people to undertake diversity action
  • Take ACTion in order to develop and value diversity
  • Assess the IMPACT of diversity action and learn from this assessment in order to re-motivate the organisation and establish future goals

Underpinning this research based model is the change process that provides essential guidance on how to motivate organisations, what action to take and how to assess the impact of diversity work.
